About the event
Part of the Interreg Atlantic Area SMACC+ project, this series brings together international researchers, industry players and specialists across four themes covering the whole value chain — from microalgae cultivation to final cosmetic and nutraceutical applications. The opening session, 'Cultivation of Microalgae' (22 September 2026), featured ITC Canary Islands, IFREMER and A4F – Algae for Future on sustainable cultivation and industrial production of bioactive compounds. Further sessions run through to December 2027.
